Day 1 Sunday
Arrive in Edinburgh
You will be met at Edinburgh Airport (arrivals at Glasgow Airport are also possible), and transferred to Edinburgh City Centre.
There will be a short introductory tour of the City by coach with a guide followed by a welcome lunch, and an optional guided visit to Edinburgh Castle, or simply spend the afternoon relaxing in the City.
This evening you are free to dine out in the City independently, or alternatively we can arrange a group dinner.
Day 2 Monday
Stirling and Gleneagles
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in your hotel. Meet with your guide and join your executive standard coach, for the drive to Stirling.
On arrival in Stirling, there will be a guided tour of the Castle, and a light lunch, before continuing to the Gleneagles Resort and checking in.
The afternoon will be your leisure to settle in, before taking dinner in the restaurant.
Overnight in Gleneagles in a Classic room.
Day 3 Tuesday - Day 5 Thursday
You will have breakfast each of the four mornings in the hotel, and dinner on each evening.
At Gleneagles, you can enjoy an extensive range of country pursuits and leisure activities, all of which take place within the estate. The instructors are experts in their fields and take enormous pride in their work, adhering to the very highest of professional standards. At Gleneagles, they also believe that age should not be a barrier to enjoying the activities on offer, which is why everything adults can do, children can do too, from driving scaled-down Land Rovers to riding miniature ponies.
In 2019, Gleneagles will celebrate its golfing centenary. Since the iconic King’s and Queen’s courses were first opened here in 1919, this countryside estate in the heart of Scotland has continued to attract the elite of the golf world.
At the Gleneagles Shooting School we have outstanding facilities and expert instructors on hand to provide an unforgettable experience for all ages and skill levels – whether you’re a novice or a crack-shot.
Tennis has been part of the Gleneagles experience since the hotel was first opened in the 1920s. Today, you can play whatever the weather at the state-of-the-art Indoor Tennis Centre.
Gleneagles Equestrian School provides expert instruction in all disciplines of horsemanship, including dressage, show jumping and cross country. The school caters for riders of all ages from three years old upwards.
The driving in the Perthshire hills is spectacular, and at Gleneagles you can have a thrilling off-road experience in our fleet of 4×4 vehicles. Participants must hold a full driving licence for these demanding trails.
The expert falconers teach the basic skills and techniques of this fascinating sport – one of the oldest and most aristocratic in the world – providing guests with hands-on experience of handling and flying Harris hawks.
Since the Gleneagles Gundog School opened in 2007 – the first of its kind in the world – thousands of guests have experienced the unique pleasure of working with the school’s magnificent and highly trained labradors.
Toeing the line on our dedicated range will enable you to learn the basics of target archery in all its practice and forms. Using the recurve bows your instructor will teach, inform and develop your skill in this ancient sport.
Gleneagles’ trout lochs provide the finest fishing for the expert seeking to extend their range or for a wonderful introduction to the sport.
And if all the activities are not enough, of course not everyone wants to spend their time on the end of a golf club, fishing rod, gun, riding rein or falconer’s glove. For some, a stay at Gleneagles is a chance to have a break from the everyday routine, to relax, to rejuvenate. You can swim in one of the two pools, exercise in the gym, enjoy a sauna or indulge yourself with a treatment in The Spa.

Gleneagles – Return Home
Take breakfast in the hotel, and then there will be a transfer to either Edinburgh or Glasgow airports for your homeward flight.
