Itinerary Summary

Day 1

Friday: Windsor Castle.

Arrive at London Heathrow where we will meet and take you to see spectacular Windsor Castle after which you will be transferred to your centrally located London hotel. Accommodation is for 5 nights. After you have checked into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours. You can indulge in some retail therapy or take in some of London’s magnificent sights and enjoy a free evening.

Day 2

Saturday: Fashion Rules Exhibition at Kensington Palace.

This morning’s highlight will be a visit to Kensington Palace to see the new ‘Fashion Rules’, a glamorous collection of royal dresses and gowns from the past half century worn by HM The Queen, Princess Margaret and Diana Princess of Wales. The tour continues through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, where you will see the Princess Diana memorial fountain. Walk to the Notting Hill area and wander through the famous Portobello Road Market which stretches for 3 kilometres, there are a lot of interesting items for every taste and a large selection of antiques are awaiting you. For an extra cost, in the evening, enjoy a theatre show at one of London’s West End theatres. We will be happy to book tickets for the show of your choice in advance.

Day 3

Sunday: In The Footsteps Of The Royal Wedding.

Today enjoy a Guided tour of Westminster Abbey where Her Majesty the Queen was crowned and where the wedding ceremony of Prince William & Catherine Duchess of Cambridge took place. Then, follow the royal processional route back to Buckingham Palace to visit the combined stable and carriage house at the Royal Mews and the Queens Gallery which is home to one of the world’s finest art collections. You’ll conclude with a Traditional English Afternoon Tea in a special location.

Day 4

Monday: Early Days.

Depart London for a full days tour which reveals where Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge grew up and went to school. Lunch can be booked for you (on advanced request) in one of her favourite places before continuing to the Wiltshire market town of Marlborough, where she went to School at Marlborough College. Returning to London, you will pause at Sandhurst where Prince William did his training as an army officer at the Royal Military Academy.

Day 5

Tuesday: Shopping By Royal Appointment.

The final day is given over to a shopping excursion with some Royal Warrant Spotting at the marvellous old shops in the St James’ Palace and Clarence House area. Here you will see Berry Bros & Rudd the wine merchants, Lobbs the shoemakers and Locks the hatters. The tour ends at Fortnum and Mason, Piccadilly, trading rooms which are striking in their magnificence and their selection of teas and coffee which is almost limitless. Finish off with English Afternoon Tea at Piccadilly. Your Evening is free to do as you choose.

Day 6

Wednesday: Departure.

Transfer to Heathrow Airport.
