The character of Dr Martin Ellingham, whose truculent and tactless manner has upset the entire population of Portwenn at one time or another, has been a hit with viewers ever since Doc Martin debuted on ITV in 2004 and the Cornish fishing village and tourist hot-spot, Port Isaac, has been invaded by a legion of fans from around the world since. If you are a fan of the grumpy GP who suffers from the fear of blood and just seeing the programme on the telly isn’t enough for you – join us on this Doc Martin mini break from London.

Itinerary Summary
Day 1
Welcome to Cornwall
After breakfast, catch a direct train (approx 4hrs) from London Paddington to Bodmin Parkway station where your driver will meet you and take you to your hotel in Padstow. Afternoon is at your leisure to explore this former fishing port and currently a hub of fine wining and dining. Padstow was featured in the season 1 episode 5, where John Slater moored his boat and delivered some bad news.
Day 2
Doc Martin on location
Today you will spend exploring beautiful Port Isaac which doubles as the fictional fishing village of Port Wenn. You will walk past many places of interest, including Doc Martin’s surgery, Berts Restaurant, the Chemist, The Platt, the Quay, the School, Louisa’s old and new houses and Wenn House. Before returning to your hotel, your driver will take you to see the Dannabroad Farm which was featured as Aunty Joan’s farm across all seasons.
Day 3
Return to London
After breakfast, your driver will take you to Bodmin Parkway station for your afternoon train to London. On the way to Bodmin, you will stop at Pencarrow House and Gardens for a tour and lunch. It was the backdrop of Doc Martin and Louisa’s first date (at the classical music concert) in the season 3 episode 5. You will arrive to London Paddington after 6pm.
